Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to orders in the CTC Customs webshop.
1. Who we are

2. Scope
2.1 These terms apply to every order placed in our webshop at ctccustoms.nl.
2.2 They do not apply to custom builds, restorations or other projects carried out in our workshop. Separate project terms apply to those, which you sign when we start your project.
2.3 Before you complete an order, you must confirm that you have read these terms. You can save or print them at any time.
3. Products and prices
3.1 We describe our products as accurately as possible. Small differences in colour or finish (for example on 3D-printed or hand-fabricated parts) are not a defect.
3.2 All prices include 21% Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately before you pay.
3.3 Obvious mistakes in prices or descriptions are not binding.
3.4 Products marked “Price on request” are made to order. You receive a written quote first; the order is only final once you accept it.
4. Fitment and installation
4.1 Our parts are developed for specific vehicles and set-ups. Check fitment before ordering; if in doubt, contact us first – we are happy to help.
4.2 Installation should be carried out by someone with the right technical knowledge. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation.
4.3 Some modifications may affect the road approval of your vehicle (for example RDW in the Netherlands). Checking this is your responsibility.
5. The contract
5.1 The contract is concluded when you complete your order and we confirm it by e-mail.
5.2 We may refuse or cancel an order if a product turns out to be unavailable or the price is clearly wrong. You then receive a full refund within 14 days.
6. Payment
6.1 You pay when ordering, by iDEAL, credit card or PayPal.
6.2 For products made to order we may ask for a deposit of no more than 50%.
7. Delivery
7.1 We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and the estimated delivery time are shown at checkout.
7.2 We deliver within 30 days unless agreed otherwise. If we cannot, we will let you know and you may cancel free of charge.
7.3 The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you.
7.4 For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, local taxes and customs fees may be charged in your country. These are for your account.
8. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
8.1 As a consumer you may cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason.
8.2 To cancel, use the “Cancel / return” button next to your order in your account, or the form on our Shipping & Returns page if you ordered as a guest. You may also send us the model withdrawal form (Annex 1) or another clear statement by e-mail. We confirm receipt by e-mail.
8.3 Send the product back within 14 days after cancelling, complete and, if possible, in its original packaging, to: CTC Customs, De Zodde 4, 1231 MB Loosdrecht, the Netherlands.
8.4 Return shipping costs are for your account.
8.5 We refund the purchase price and the standard outbound shipping costs within 14 days after your cancellation, using the same payment method. We may wait until we have received the product back or you have shown proof of return.
8.6 You may inspect the product as you would in a shop. If you handle it beyond that – for example by installing, painting, cutting or drilling it – you are liable for the loss in value, which can be up to the full price.
9. No right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- products made to your specifications or personalised, such as custom exhausts, made-to-measure heat shields and a CTC Dash configured for your car (your name, voice or messages);
- other products where this is clearly stated on the product page before you order.
10. Guarantee and complaints
10.1 Our products meet the agreement, the product description and reasonable requirements of quality and usability. Your statutory rights (legal guarantee/conformity) always apply.
10.2 Damage caused by incorrect installation, use in competition, accidents, modifications by third parties or normal wear is not a defect.
10.3 Report a defect as soon as possible and no later than two months after you discover it, by e-mail with photos. We reply within 14 days and will repair, replace or refund the product.
11. Liability
11.1 Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned, unless the damage is caused by our intent or gross negligence.
11.2 We are not liable for indirect damage such as loss of use of the vehicle, transport or towing costs, or costs of third-party labour, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
11.3 Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Business customers
If you buy as a business (for example a garage), articles 8 and 9 do not apply, complaints must be made within 14 days of delivery, and our liability is limited to the invoice amount of the product concerned.
13. Personal data
We process your personal data according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Disputes and applicable law
14.1 Please contact us first: we will always try to find a solution together.
14.2 Dutch law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you may also choose the court of your place of residence where mandatory law allows this.
