Underneath, it is a different story: this C2 is a restomod. CTC Customs took the body off and rebuilt the car from the ground up, with one goal: keep the soul of the sixties and add the performance and comfort of today. The body had already been restored in the past, so we kept the existing paint. The only exception is the hood: we fitted the taller 1967 hood for air filter clearance, and because it gives the car just a little more muscle. The heart of the car is a carbureted LS3 with a Stage 1 camshaft, built around a deep, rumbling sound. At low revs it is a relaxed cruiser that you can simply enjoy. When you ask for more, all of its roughly 500 hp and 580 Nm are there. The sound leaves through Detroit Speed long tube side pipes with Hooker end sections. We made the heat shields over the 4″ side pipes by hand, with a look that stays close to the original. Under the car, a Speed Direct Shark Bite Dominator kit, strengthened with our own CTC Customs brackets, works together with rack and pinion steering and hydroboosted Z06 brakes. The EVOD Turbine wheels wear Diamond Back tires with a subtle whitewall, 215\/40R18 front and 235\/30R19 rear: a modern stance with a classic touch. Inside, we kept things as stock as possible, with a few details you only notice once you use the car. Our own contour lighting glows when you open the door and dims to a soft glow across the floor while you drive. We converted the original tachometer from mechanical to electric by taking the gauge apart and rebuilding the needle drive. The electrics are partly original and partly built by CTC Customs. A C2 that looks like 1964 and drives like today.CTC Customs parts used on this carSharkbite Modification \u2192Side Pipe Heatshields \u2192"}
